Welcome to the Children's Room

The Children’s Room at Ledyard Public Library is all about books and fun!  Remember we are one Library under two roofs and we want to be the place you visit when you need a good book or to connect with a friend.  At this time our Library can offer no in person storytimes or programming but we are committed to providing services to families so that they can continue to enjoy the Library and its resources.  Call or email us to take advantage of our Contact Free Book and DVD Pick Up.  Need ideas?  Check out our Good Books page to get some recommendations or call us for help.

Ledyard Public Library participates in the nationwide summer reading program.  Our 2020 program is Imagine Your Story: Read, Make, Explore! For instructions, resources, and a look at our prizes for Summer Reading please go to our Summer Reading Page.

Interested in our available programs?  Go to our Event Page  and scroll to the program to register.  Be sure to register for EACH DAY you are interested in participating.  One registration does not include you in the whole series of programs.  Questions?  Call the Library for help!

Our programs this summer will include but are not limited to:

Be a 4-H Brainiac! and Break-out! Escape Rooms, Pop Up Stories, Take and Make  Crafts, Lego Club Zoom Edition, Code Club Meetings, Code Club Showcase, The Great Prenda Code Challenge, and Community Rock Garden.
