A Universe of Stories!
June 17 – August 10, 2019
READ TO ME
Children turning 4 years old (in 2019) up through children entering 1st grade may register for this program at the library. They will receive a coloring sheet with a reading log on the back. For each book read independently (or read to them) write the title on the back of the sheet, and the child colors the front. After the picture is colored and every title recorded, return the sheet to Bill or Gales Ferry library (where the child is registered) for a prize. If the child completes 5 sheets before August 10th, they will win a paperback book. The first date to turn in the Read to Me sheets is June 17th.
A Universe of Stories
Children entering 2nd grade through entering 6th grade are eligible for our “Universe” program. For each hour read, they will receive a “Book Buck” which they can spend in our library store. We will be doing online registration this year beginning at 9:30 am on June 17th. If you prefer, you can bring the child into the library to register and pick up their reading log packet. Your child must read for one hour before receiving the packet.
