Build a Better World 2017
Ledyard Public Libraries Teen Summer Reading
June 26 – August 12
This program is open to students entering grades 7-12 in fall 2017.
There will be 4 weekly prize winners and entries may be earned by reading a book or volunteering. You can volunteer in shifts at either library helping at the summer reading table, or with storytimes, cooking, or craft events for younger children.
All volunteers can receive a certificate documenting number of hours worked if needed.
Final prizes will be awarded for the most books read and the most volunteer hours accumulated during the summer.
Come to the library to register so we can set up your online account where you can log books you read and volunteer hours you served from any internet connection all summer. You will also receive your Teen Brochure with all the program details!
Once you’ve registered in the library,

If you would like to volunteer at the library this summer, you MUST attend one of the orientation sessions at Bill Library. It would be helpful to us if you registered for one of these sessions, but if you forget to register, please come anyway! Please bring a laptop or iPad/tablet if you have one.
Please register by clicking on the time of the program you want to attend.
